Middle School Mentoring Program

Cornerstone is looking for adults who are willing to invest time into building mentoring relationships with middle school students. 

Are you...

Available during the school day twice per month for one hour each?

Willing to help a student with homework and personal goals?

Patient, caring, and creative?

If you answered yes to these questions, you could make a real difference in the life of a middle school student! 

About the Mentorship Program:

  • The program is school-based; all mentoring occurs at school or with Cornerstone staff
  • Mentors visit their student(s) twice a month over lunch (12-1 PM)
  • The focus of this program is on goal-setting and high school preparation, along with relationship building
  • There will be guidance, training, and materials provided for meeting times
  • All potential mentors are required to submit an application, state of PA criminal background and child abuse history clearances
